And just like that it's half-term and Autumn has finally arrived. The mornings are a little gloomy with dew drops highlighting all the spider webs around the garden; the evenings are definitely darker with a chill in the air; Halloween is right around the corner. C has a Christmas Countdown started on his chalkboard and, in case you were wondering, there's 62 more sleeps!
We have a lovely family together week this week, something we so enjoy and look forward to. A few PJ days with favourite movies and foods, a few fresh air days with country walks through the autumn colourscape and our wedding anniversary to celebrate another year of love and togetherness. Weeks like this really make my heart smile.
Monday: Best Ever Chicken (T's name for this dish....), New Potatoes, Veg
Tuesday: Pizza Pasta Bake, Garlic Bread, Salad
Wednesday: Pork Kievs, New Potatoes, Veg
Thursday: Anniversary Dinner Out
Friday: Brinner (Breakfast for Dinner) featuring home made waffles
Saturday: Chicken Cutlets, Pasta with Butter & Cheese, Peas
Sunday: Roast Dinner
Sweets & Treats: C wants to do some baking this week so he'll decide what goes here. However, I do want to have a go at a Lamington's recipe someone recently gave me - those were a childhood favourite so really keen to try them.
Happy Cooking & Eating this week xx
